Sass’s dam, Lucy, is a three fourth’s sister to Willow and looks almost exactly like Willow. We wanted a River x Willow breeding but couldn’t do it since they are both DM carriers. So, the closest we could get was River x Lucy. The results were fantastic. Sass was the female pick of a beautiful litter of 12. When people visit the kennel, everyone remarks about what a beautiful dog she is.
Sass finished her Conformation Champion title at 22 months of age on Memorial Day, 2021 under the capable handling of Stephanie Hentschel. She is now back at home taking her place as a matriarch at Sky Pond.
Sass is very dark brown with a great coat. She is taking after her parents and is a large, muscular dog. Sass is 23 1/2 inches at the shoulder and weighs 92 pounds. She has a great personality and loves everyone she comes in contact with.
