Chance, Lark’s sire, is one of the elite Chesapeakes that has his conformation “CH” title and his hunt test “HRCH” and “MH” titles. His breeding to Misty has produced this fast-retrieving young girl. Lark swims as fast as any dog I have ever owned. She enters the water with a splash and is full speed ahead – out and back.
Lark spent the spring and summer of 2023 with Jeremy Ries of MoCo Bottom’s Labs. She came home at the end of July with her SHR title and two Junior passes. She came home to whelp puppies. Hopefully after 2025 litter, I will be able to get her in the showring.
Lark is a deadgrass and a very well put together Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She has matured to a strongly built, average sized female.
